OmniCodex provides a free way to store and collate information Omnicodex is a simple application that collects, store and collate information and was designed to help researchers and scholarly writers keep track of their information. Why Omnicodex?: When researching for a dissertation, synopsis, essay, article etc. it is often necessary to read a great variety of books and literature. However, unless you take notes you\'ll quickly forget where you found what information, and which category or subject that information belongs to. One option would be to keep a notebook, but that is usually a slow process, involving lots of tedious writing tasks. Enter Omnicodex. Omnicodex is the equivalent of a notebook, divided into categories. Omnicodex provides a unique way to manage information quickly and efficiently. Instead of a notebook, you get 3 pages (tabs) each divided into 9 text areas. You can specify your own titles for these text areas, and add your own notes. Omnicodex encourages you to include source information, and even remembers previous entries. For instance, you won\'t have to type the title of a book twice. Omnicodex is meant to be a note repository, but not a full text, article database.
