vPresent Description

vPresent is a software tool for creating 3D presentations for display on large-screen projection systems such as a dome or a CAVE-like virtual reality system. vPresent has two software components: 1. A desktop GUI application for creating and displaying presentations. This application is written in Python on top of PyQt, PyOpenSG, and other libraries. 2. A rendering server daemon used for presentation display on clustered visualization systems. This application is written in C++ using OpenSG 2.0. vPresent stores its data in an extended form of the Open Document format. Rendering is performed on the client and server using OpenSG 2.0.
