frmCVLAN Description

An implementation of the CallVisor API for the Avaya Communication Manager CTI (computer-telephony integration), or CT (computer telephony) is the use of computers to manage telephone calls. CallVisor LAN (CVLAN) is a client/server implementation of the CallVisor API, that enables applications to communicate with Avaya Communication Manager, that is, to send and receive ASAI Messages over shared ASAI links on TCP/IP. An application can use ASAI Messages to monitor and control resources on the Avaya Communication Manager server. CVLAN software consists of a client component and a server component, which allows clients to access Avaya MultiVantage CallVisor Adjunct Swich Application Interface (ASAI) features across a TCP/IP LAN in a client-server arrangement. Avaya Computer Telephony CVLAN provides connectivity between a Windows based adjunct (Windows NT, Windows 2000, or Windows XP) and Avaya MultiVantage via TCP/IP.
