However, if some of these requests can be satisfied from cache it will save a large amount of time. This plug-in does just that. The WP Green Cache redirects the requests to own cache system and answers the request quickly, whenever theres a hit, as these pages need not be generated again. As the WP Green Cache Plugin highly reduces unnecessary usage of server resources, electricity consumption and consequently carbon emissions are reduced. Hence the name Green cache given to the product. As there are hundreds of pages on blog and there are tens of millions of blogs and visitors waiting for pages, the savings could be substantial. This works with WP 3.2.1 or later and plug-in version 0.1.6. When getting started, you just have to click the enable check box. You can set the time interval a cache page will be held in the cache in terms of minutes. After this time, it will be considered stale and can get replaced by a different page if there are no accesses to the page during this period.
