WHATIS Description

The WHATIS application was designed to be a small utility that will extract and display the description files inside of PKZIP archives! This program is driven from the command line and must be followed by the archive name, for example..If you wanted to view what is in this archive (i.e. WHATIS11.ZIP) you would type the following: WHATIS WHATIS11.ZIP This would start the program and let you know what is in the DESC.SDI and/or FILE_ID.DIZ description files. You can also give it a path: Whatis c:zipfilesfilename.zip (This is great for use on CD_ROM archives!) the last command line option is: /? /h or no filename which will bring up the help screen!
