Taza Description

It is meant to be embedded in batch processing software that operates on large amounts of data. The Taza Writer creates a column oriented, binary format that is optimized for sequential reading and the instantiation of numbers (int, short, long float, double). The Taza Reader makes aggressive use of memory, threads and low level byte manipulation to read data very rapidly and make it available to the calling application through it's inversion of control event model. Using Taza programmers will be able to build highly efficient batch jobs on very large data sets.
