Road to Riches is a simulation and time management game in which you create your own trucking company. You are in charge of delivering goods to all parts of your city using your trucks. Every level has a certain goal that you must achieve in order to get to the next level. The more orders you take, the more money you make. With that money, you can later buy more trucks and hire drivers to improve your services and make more money. As you progress in the game, you will have more orders to attend, and the coverage area will get larger and larger. Whenever there's a new order, you can decide whether it is wise to accept it or not, paying attention to the distances, quantities, values, and deadline. It is also very important for you to learn all the screens, and specially what they are for, otherwise you will feel overwhelmed and lost. Reputation is also a key factor in making the business grow. The better your reputation is, the more work you get. Late deliveries, for instance, decrease your reputation, while deliveries made on time boost it. The gameplay is a bit complicated and difficult to learn, as there are many things to attend. Fortunately, all the tasks are added progressively, so you will have time to learn them as you play. Besides, the game comes with an extensive help menu that explains the different tasks one by one. The graphics are a bit disappointing from my perspective. They are cartoonish, but a bit crisp and not very detailed. The characters look very disproportionate and not real. On the contrary, the music is pleasant and suitable for the game. All in all, Road to Riches is a complicated time-management game that includes all the things that may appear in a real trucking company. If you like that kind of business games, I'm sure you are going to love this game.
