Riff Studio Description

The heart and soul of riff studio is it's integrated database system. This database is designed specifically with songwriters in mind. It allows you to categorize all of your riffs with searchable flags of your own designation. Then in the future when you are working on a new song and you need say a "melodic riff" or a "heavy riff" all you have to do is select that from the dropdown and click search. A list of all of your riff's with that category will come up and you can check them all out and select the one that best fits the song you are working on. You can record your riffs directly within riff studio and store them into the database or you can import existing riffs from many different file formats. You may also just record a jam session if you want and later use the editor to cut out specific segments for new riffs. If you have all of your old riffs/songs stored on cassette or some other non-digital medium you can use riff studio to transfer them to your computer.
