Pairwise Test-case Optimizer Description

Combinatorial Testing: A testing technique for finding defects that could arise due to various combinations of inputs provided. Results show that most of the defects that result from Combinatorial Testing are due to inputs from a certain input pair out of the combination provided. The pairwise technique aims at optimizing the number of input combinations such that each input pair is considered. Pre-requisites: 1. MS Excel should be installed 2. Macros should be enabled Usage: The tool is fairly simple to use. Follow the sequence: 1. Provide the number of input parameters in "NumberOfParams" sheet. Click on Proceed. 2. Provide parameter names and possible number of values each parameter can take in "ParamNames" sheet. Click on Proceed. 3. Provide the values for each parameter in "ParamValues" sheet. Click on Proceed. 4. "Cases" sheet will display all possible input combinations. Click on Optimize Button to optimize the number of cases to cover all pairs.
