OxEdit Description

video prev next OxEdit allows you to create, edit, and run files with Ox format, an object-oriented matrix programming language. The program also allows you to open other file formats (C preprocessor - cpp -, Fortran, Gauss, Html, Java, M, Rtf, Text, and Tsp). OxEdit comes with the Ox Console, but it needs to be downloaded separately. The Ox format is associated with the program by default, but you can add other file types in the Preferences window. Another useful feature that you can find in the Preferences window is the Fonts & Color option that allows you to change the color of the normal text, comments, keywords, functions, strings, characters, numbers and preprocessor. You can use three viewing modes: the text mode that allows you to edit the text by lines; a binary mode for viewing binary files without seeing text lines; and the hexadecimal mode that displays two columns, one with the text on the right, and the hexadecimal values on the left. The program allows you to add markers on the text lines to navigate through your document more easily. If you have used a previous version of OxEdit, you can load its modules from the View/Preferences/Add/Remove Modules. Roberto Jimenez Editor rating:
