MP3 Workshop XP Description

MP3 is the most widely used sound file format due to the fact that it is lightweight and easy to exchange and transmit through the Internet. This program is a complete application that has the most commonly used functions related to MP3 files. For starters, the program can play any MP3 file and edit its tag. Also, you can convert any WAV file to MP3 and vice versa. Another nice function is the Edition feature. It lets you cut any part of a MP3 file and save as a different file so you can use it, for example, as a ringtone. Also, you can combine multiple MP3 files into a single file. Finally, you can rip CD files into MP3, as well as burn your MP3's into a CD. Although it is a very handy program since it can perform all the most common MP3 tasks, the three main drawbacks I found with this software are that it only can convert to and from MP3 files; it would be useful to have additional formats such as WMA, RM and OGG. Also, the mixing capabilities are basic. Finally, the program is a little expensive in comparison with other similar programs.
