Instant Export Description

This DVD Profile plug-in will automatically detect changes to your profiles as they are made and updates an XML export. Ideal for users of external programs relying on DVD Profiler data - for example phpDVDProfiler and Open Media Library. Does not support multiple databases. DVD Profiler is a complete DVD management solution that will offer an extensive array of features including an ever growing online database that provides information about many DVD titles. With support of the database, adding a new DVD title to your collection is as simple as entering the UPC from the DVD case or the title of the movie, and DVD Profiler will retrieve the entire DVD Profile from the online database. If you have a DVD drive connected to your computer, you don't even have to enter the UPC, but can simply insert the DVD into the drive. Using Instant Export: - Start DVD Profiler. - From the menu select Plugins/Instant Export. - Accept the usage conditions (they are the same as you have to accept when using the XML export option in DVD Profiler). - A window is opened. You can dock the window anywhere you want. If you leave the window open the plugin will automatically run next time you open DVD Profiler - allowing you to skip the steps above. - In the plugin window enter the path or browse to the folder where you want your collection exported to. - If needed, set the mode to "Compatibility" (if in doubt, leave the mode to "Fast" unless you encounter specific problems with this mode) - Activate the export by setting the checkbox "Perform instant XML export". - Monitor the plugin window for any error - If there is an error it will be indicated with red text.
