HDDCleaner finds the heaviest files and folders on your hard drive, allowing you to delete them and free up space. Mind, you need to be very careful, as you could delete a system folder by accident (HDDCleaner does not prevent you from doing that). Because of this, I can only recommend this tool for advanced users. The program has a very modern-looking user interface. Its first screen allows you either to select the drive you want to analyze or to clear your temporary files right away. When you pick the target drive, you can configure the search: you can select the minimum size of the folders to analyze and whether to scan system folders or not. Then you can start the search process, which goes relatively fast. While the program analyzes the drive you selected, it entertains you with a novel animation. Once the scan is finished, you will see the list of the heaviest files and folders and empty folders present in your system. You can go on to select one or more of those elements and press the "Delete" button to remove them.
