FreeNewsReader Description

FreeNewsReader is a lightweight and easy to use RSS reader that can grant you access to all the news subscriptions you have from various websites and blogs.Accessible to anyoneFreeNewsReader is quick to install and immediately ready for use. There is no configuring to do, as all you need is a valid URL with the RSS feed and you’re ready to go. It displays a comprehensive, user-friendly interface that enables you to easily load and read material. Content that is made available after a link is added, and once that is done, the title, status and publishing date are displayed. From there you simply click one article and view it in an adjacent window. With a simple right click, you are able to load the webpage where the article is posted, as well as bookmark it. Some practical featuresWhen opening a default link, FreeNewsReader creates a new tab and displays the web page. The only problem with this is that you can’t close the new tab and opening a new one only replaces the current one. Though that is a rather big inconvenience, the application does offer some practical features. You can, for example, search for a keyword or keywords inside the content and title of an article. The search can be applied for both active feeds, as well as for bookmarked publications. You also get to use a rather practical manager for subscriptions, bookmarks and history which enable you to always have just the content you want. Additionally, choosing how many articles are displayed per page at one time is possible. A basic RSS readerIn closing, FreeNewsReader is by all means a practical RSS reader if you don’t mind the fact that you can’t see any attached images to articles without opening their original webpage, but even so, the application comes with a built-in browser.
