CryptAFile Description

CryptAFile File encrytion utilities are legion, it seems to be every programmer's first exercise on 'Introduction to Programming 101', but this one is different. CryptAFile was written by an engineer who spent 30 years in the defence industry and found he needed a quick, readily available, simple solution to the problem of encrypting files; so it has no bells and whistles, just a good clean user interface. CryptAFile adheres to the 'three click principle' that states that a task should be achievable within three clicks of the mouse, for those who prefer menus, it comes with menus too. Triple DES requires 168bit keys and the necessary key is generated from a sentence you enter so there is no need to generate, remember or write down complex hexidecimal strings - just use your favourite quote, for example. Triple DES is unbreakable within any reasonable timeframe (we are talking decades for one file decryption, if it is possible at all).
