CodeTimer is a small software application designed with a single goal in mind: to help you check out how much time you spend on learning programming languages. Compared to other similar stopwatches which are focused on timing various activities, this particular utility is specifically designed for those who are learning a programming language and need to keep track of the progress they make. The timer and program languages are displayed with different colors but there’s no support for options that could help you alter the layout. Additionally, you can choose the preferred programming language from a drop-down list, namely Ada, Visual Basic, C#, C++, Fortran, Java, Perl, Ruby, QML, Python, and others, as well as the desired web design language, such as HTML, CSS, PHP, XML, or ASP. What’s more, you are allowed to start or stop the timer and save the elapsed time for each language, so you can easily upload it. PerformanceTests have shown that CodeTimer carries out a task quickly and without errors. It leaves a minimal footprint on system resources, so the overall performance of the computer is not affected.
