CoGO! Description

CoGO! is a Coordinate Geometry tool of particular value to those involved in 2D mapping of land parcels, properties and the like. It allows the sequences of lines and arcs that form the outline of a land feature to be specified in terms of lengths and bearings and provides graphical verification of those sequences. CoGO! data can be exchanged with a variety of popular mapping products such as Microstation, Arc Info and AutoCAD. Get CoGO! and give it a try to fully assess its capabilities and see just how useful it can be for land mapping and more! Main features: Context sensitive input of data. CoGO! knows what's expected next allowing a compact data entry form and maximising speed of user input. CoGO! also provides a panel with complete guidance for call entry should the user feel more comfortable with that. Respecification of input. Enter the radius and delta of an arc, then ask CoGO! to automatically respecify the arc as tangent and length. Choose from a variety of specification formats. Follow mode. CoGO! tracks your input graphically and allows the user to see all of their sequence as it builds, without the user having to zoom and pan manually. Metric and imperial (feet and inches) measurement modes. CSV and DXF import and export allowing transfer of data to and from other systems. GPS data import from Garmin, Magellan and others. Descriptive Text Export. Export sequences in a descriptive English format, suitable for pasting into reports. Waypoints. Enter absolute anchor points and have CoGO! automatically maintain the linework between them. Call aggregation. Inbuilt function to convert Waypoints into Lines, Waypoints into Arcs, Lines into Arcs and combinations of Waypoints and Lines into Arcs. Tangency. If a start bearing is not specified for a call within a sequence it is automatically made tangent to the previous call. Invisible mode. Calls may be made "invisible" so that they act as a relative move-to command. Tag your CoGO! calls with descriptions or symbols. CoGO! allows tags to be displayed next to their calls, or, at the press of a button, will substitute symbols for matching tags, e.g. if there is a picture called tree.gif available and a call is tagged with 'tree', then CoGO! will display that picture at the call. Printing and print previewing. No need for expensive CAD systems. CoGO! allows you to import or directly enter, manipulate and print your data. An all-in-one solution. Crash recovery. Accidentally kick the power cord loose? On restart, CoGO! gives the user the opportunity to continue from a regular automatic save point.
