BrewTroller Description

BrewTroller has your back by providing workflow to user-defined recipes. It calculates your strike and sparge volumes based on recipe parameters. Thanks to the volume monitoring and valve control functions, the application can automatically fill your vessels, preheat to the strike temperature and time, then execute the multi-step mash schedules. The boil timer starts automatically when your boil temperature is reached and alarms remind you of boil additions. If you choose to use BrewTroller's valve control logic you can identify a set of outputs to use for logical functions such as Fill HLT, Sparge In, Sparge Out, etc. These profiles are exposed on context-specific screens for the currently active step in the brewing process. Trade hose swapping regiments in for push button control. BrewTroller monitors temperature and volume of the Hot Liquor Tank (HLT), Mash Tun and Brew Kettle and controls heat sources, pumps and valves as needed in the brewing process. BrewTroller supports PID control of heating elements making it an inexpensive solution to replace up to four PID controllers. Main features: PID or On/Off controlled heat outputs (HLT, Mash, Kettle and Steam Boiler) Pump and Valve On/Off outputs (expandable to 32 using MUX Out) Temperature sensors (HLT, Mash, Kettle, CFC H2O IN, CFC H2O Out, CFC Beer Out, AUX1, AUX2, AUX3) Volume sensor inputs used to measure HLT, Mash and Kettle volume Steam Pressure sensor input for controlling steam heat Simple encoder input providing iPod like controls (rotate left, rotate right, click for enter, click and hold for cancel) 20 column, 4 row backlit LCD character display
