BinViewer Description

As the name implies, BinViewer is a software application that allows you to view the content of binary files (BIN format). It can be seamlessly figured out by all types of users, regardless of their level of experience. The interface of the program is represented by a standard window with a plain layout, where you can load files into the working environment by using only the file browser, since the "drag and drop" functionality is not supported. The primary application window shows the hexadecimal code of the respective file, along with the text and common types (e.g. float, double, RGBA). In addition, you can use a search function when dealing with large amounts of data, jump to a particular offset (decimal or hexadecimal), as well as print content. Unfortunately, there are no configuration settings available through this tool. For instance, you cannot minimize BinViewer to the system tray area or make it automatically run at system startup. The program requires a low quantity of CPU and system memory, so it does not interfere with the runtime of other active processes. It has a good response time and works smoothly, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. Although it has not been updated for a long time, BinViewer is pretty simple to figure out, even by users with less or no experience in such tools.
