This tool will also open any Real Media video file and extract its audio into any of the formats supported. The program supports RM, RA, RAM and RMVB files. You will need to have Real Player installed in your system to be able to install and use this software. Both WAV and MP3 conversions are performed fast and efficiently. Converting to MP3 offers some settings to the user, so that you can decide on the type of bit rate you want to use, either constant or variable. Though the program offers you a list of possible constant bit rates (up to 160) you can always type in your preferred kbps rate. Variable bit rate can be limited to work within the highest and the lowest values of your choice, or you can select any of the ten pre-set quality profiles. Apis RM to MP3 WAV Converter has thrown in a very interesting extra feature–the possibility of loading a Real Media video file and extracting its audio soundtrack to either a WAV or MP3 audio file.
