ActiveGrid Description

ActiveGrid is about a set of events, properties and functions with which you can modify, create and interact with the hierarchical structure. Moreover, using some support classes, you can represent in a very personalized way the entitities objects of the hierarchical data structure (for example it is possible to link a different context menu to every entity or to set a different order type for the child entities, and so on.). Every entity has a collection of fields that you can define and a collection of child entities and every entity can have a different visualization , as you can see in the pictures above. . Every field can be defined by one of the following data types: Variant Byte Boolean Integer Long Single Double Currency Decimal Date String Path Filename Font Color Icon Picture In the case of Date, Path, Filename, Font, Color, Icon, Picture data types, the data values are inserted using specific forms; for all the other types the data values are inserted directly into the cells of the control. You can also define a validity range for the data values, so when an user insert new values, these are verified before insertion.
