ADIF Filter Description

ADIF Filter is a practical tool for the users who want to split their ADIF logs by filtering the content. The ADIF file format is a well-known log type used by radio amateurs in order to store the information about their transmissions. The amateur radio users who are using a logging tool for their activity know that searching through a log can be difficult, especially when it includes details about all the transmissions for a long time interval. Although some logging solutions allow you to browse through the logs or search for a certain entry, not all of them enable you to export the search result. If you need to extract a set of records from the database, the ADIF Filter can help you. The main goal of the program is to separate a set of records from the others by applying multiple filters. In fact, the results are exported to individual files that include the records that match or do not match your criteria. All you need to do is select the ADI file, specify the criteria and click one button. In order to accurately specify the records you have the possibility to use about twenty filters starting with the date range, band and transmission mode. Advanced options enable you to enter keywords for comments, calls and operators. You can also specify the continent, country and number of QSOs in the main window. The ability to extract records with unique value in a certain field allows you to isolate certain transmissions from the rest of the file. Besides separating the records in different files, ADIF Filter can display basic statistics about the records. Thus you can view which band or mode was used more frequently in order to analyze the log activity. Overall, ADIF Filter allows you to extract certain records from large ADIF logs and provides you with an easy to use interface.
