Whats new in HiContacts 2.0?With OS 4.0 HiContacts 2.0 does real group SMS using iphone SMS API.HiContacts is an iPhone App that lets you more easily send canned messages to groups of friends, co-workers, or family members by email or SMS text message. You can define as many people groups as you want, containing only selected members of your Contact book. This makes it easier to send messages to groups of people by quickly picking a group name from a list rather than individually hunting through your Contacts book each time.You can also create any number of pre-written short messages and send them from a quick-pick list, without having to type out the message on the keyboard each time. This is handy for frequent messages like “Can you talk?”, “I’m running late”, or “I’m on my way home.”Smart Search:A smart search that always shows the search bar. Search by typing first letter of FirstName and first letter of LastName in addition to standard search. Quick Email or Quick SMS from the contact detail view by selecting a predefined message.Groups:Create and Maintain your own Groups. Add existing contacts to groups. Send Quick Email or Quick SMS to the whole group by selecting a predefined message.Messages:Create and Maintain your own Messages.
