Uses UI scripting to search the active library in EndNote X for the text selected in Mellel or another text editor/word processor Search EndNote for Selection is a small Applescript that enables you to search for the selected text in your word processor in the active library of EndNote X.Notes:· To use this script with another application, change the value of the theEditor property from Mellel to the displayed name of that application.· The script uses GUI scripting to get the text selected in Mellel, and it relies on the command-C shortcut. If in your application the "Copy" command does not have this shortcut, or if the shortcut has been reassigned, the script's results are unpredictable.· The script was designed for Mellel, which doesn't support AppleScript. If your application supports AppleScript, you should modify the script to get the selected text through script commands, which is safer. Requirements: · GUI scripting enabled · EndNote X · Mellel (or another text editor or word processor)
