Automator action that returns an alias to the special type chosen folder Get Special Folder is a free Automator action that will return an alias reference to the chosen special folder, such as Shared folder, Pictures folder, Sites folder, etc.If you want to identify a folder within the special folder, enter a POSIX path to the desired sub-folder within the special folder. If it doesn't exist, it will be created.For example, if the chosen special folder is Documents and the path to the sub-folder is Projects/Smith Project/Images, then a folder named Images will be created in a folder named Smith Project in a folder named Projects, within the Documents folder.Select the Ask for Administrator Password checkbox if an administrative password will be required to create new sub-folders. A password input dialog will be presented when the workflow is executed.If the Action Input Control is set to Use Results from Previous Action, then any disk items passed from the previous action can be either copied or moved into the indicated folder replacing any existing items with the same names.
