jAMVLE Description
A molecular visualization tool in Java jAMVLE is a free and open source, platform-independent, integrated, and interactive molecular visualization tool has been developed for teaching and learning molecular structure. jAMVLE was initially developed to help undergraduate students learn concepts of protein structure, but can also be used as a comprehensive molecular visualisation tool for both teaching, and research, in chemistry and biological sciences. Requirements: · Java 1.4 or later What's New in This Release: · load commands in script files loaded from the html tutorial panel · now determine absolute path using system.separator. scripts can now · use relative molecule load commands ie. load structures/1gfl.pdb without · problem · updated format summary html pages for all jmol supported · structure formats · fixed non-fatal null pointer element exception when generating · a summary of a pdb file that contains empty/null lines · replaced splash, frame icons and updated about content · About frame links now opens in default system browser · fileReaders fixed to display entire content of sturcture files for · cube, jaguar, spartan. Previously parts of these structure files were · missing from the raw file format display.
