Free and open source 3D rendering application for your Mac Vision Quest is a 3D rendering program that uses scanline rendering techinique for rendering Mesh (collection of polygons) based objects.Vision Quest is written in Java and should work on all major platforms: Mac OS X, Linux and Windows. Requirements: · Java 1.4 or later What's New in This Release: · Change and Render the ambient color. · Change render background color. · Incorporated Supersampling in Scanline rendering. · Objects can now be coppied. · Objects can also be selected by names. · Rendering progress will be displayed thru' the render window. · Rendered images can now be saved in variety of different formats. · Scene can now use any no. of lights. · New Pyramid Object added. · Objects will now be rendered with phong shading. Having smoother finish not faceted. · Scene can now be rendered with a background Image. · Right click on the Render window shows pixel (underneath the mouse) related information.
