Screen Utility Description

Screen Utility is a free and easy to use OS X app that will allow you to hide the desktop icons, the dock and/or the menu bar before taking screenshots.Screen Utility also comes with a Pixel Test feature for easily testing any dead, stuck, bright, or defective pixels on your Mac's screen. Pixel Test covers you screen with one of the following colors: white, red, green, blue, and black. To change the color just click or type anything.The Screen Utility also features a built-in and very useful screen capture utility that will help you to quickly grab your Mac's screen with the mouse cursor. After clicking the "Capture screen with curosr" button, the app will start a 5 seconds countdown and will save the screen grab to the ~/Pictures/Screen Utility folder.NOTE: To buy Screen Utility via the App Store an Apple account is required.
