Based on OpenOffice.org, can be easily used by children. OOo4Kids is a very nice application designed to provide support for 7-12 years old users. Based on OpenOffice.org source code, OOo4Kids is extremely simplified. Everything is made with the idea to contribute back to OpenOffice.org Project, through OpenOffice.org Education Project, and students projects, but not only (all sort of contributions are welcome, of course). Resources are managed by the EducOOo non profit association.
