MyTree is a family history and genealogy program. MyTree is a Mac program to build and store family trees and history. Based on a hierarchical model starting with the family name, MyTree branches down to time intervals which then branch down to geographical locations then to information on each family member with multiple secondary screens for more detail. The user is able to define each time interval whether months, years, decades or centuries. Similarly, the location can be a continent, country, city, neighbourhood or even postal code. With the ability to sort and search, MyTree allows you to trace family connections.For a person wanting to build a family tree, MyTree provides the tools and structure to organize your known information by family names, time period and location while always allowing for more details to be added in the future.A task bar makes it easy to skip up and down the levels from family names to time intervals to locations to individuals and each level has secondary screens to reference document images.
