It is a complete client/server architecture ready for deployment, simple and powerful at the same time, with a small set of clear high-level easy to use interfaces, it incapsulates OpenBase with an abstract layer designed for supporting multiple, hot swappable SQL architectures.GlobalClient is actually used in onTrack! Client while GlobalDB is part of GlobalServer and also used in deLuxe for achieving the standalone version of onTrack!.GlobalClient and GlobalDB implement exactly the same API's and they are completely interchangeable and are counterparts of a same layer, so by using a set of API's and including either of two frameworks it is possible to realize either a standalone application (with GlobalDB) or a client (with GlobalClient) which will transparently communicate to GlobalDB included in our GlobalServer.
