Flexy Description

AIR-based Texy-like syntax based editor mainly for web-developers Flexy is a free and open source application written in Adobe AIR that provides a cool way to create Texy documents directly on your desktop. Here are some key features of "Flexy": User friendly interface: · Flexy uses one tab for each open project. These tabs can be closed, opened reorder, just about anything. Each texy project you have open has it's main editing field, where you can enter texy input. It then features tabs, where each tab represent one result page. Multi-page documents: · One of the main reasons why I created Flexy is, that quite often you get a huge text file containing all the resources for a website and it's up to you to get the individual resources into their own pages, add the custom headers and footers and other graphical elemnts on the pages and link them together. Flexy does all of this for you. · A typical workflow would look like this · Open the document with Flexy. · Apply Texy! formating · Add the multipage tags, which look like this: – --|page name| – - · Click on the ?Edit the document template“ button and insert your template · Click on the ?Format“ button to preview the output (Note: the HTML render engine used is Webkit.) · Click on publish to select a folder to export the finished site. Access to the local filesystem: · Flexy, while being fully multiplatform, will easilly open .texy files on your hard-drive, so that you can easily edit them. You can also save files to your local filesystem. Requirements: · Adobe AIR
