Conceived as a more powerful alternative to Rails' Validations module, it can be used with both ActiveRecord objects and plain old Ruby objects for powerful validations and more.ActiveSpec was born out of the desire to be able to implement more complicated validations than the built-in Ruby On Rails validations macros allow and can be used with both non-Rails and Rails applications.NOTE: ActiveSpec is licensed and distributed under the terms of the MIT License.
