Highlight text on a page and search for this text in your phpGedView-based genealogy website phpGedView search is a Firefox add-on that performs a phpGedView-search with the highlighted text on a web page.Just select the text you want to search for in your phpGedView site, right click on it and select "New PGV Search tab: " ", "New PGV Search window", or "Search:". The search result will be opened in a new tab or window of the current window and a general search will be executed using the highlighted text. The phpGedView site to be used can be configured using the Preferences window. Also the use of the new tab, new window or current window options can be enabled or disabled. Note: be careful when selecting text in a hyperlink, as you might activate this link and jump to page it revers to.
