iCyte Annotation Tool iCyte is a Firefox extension that enables you to highlight and archive text on any webpage, allowing you to recall the most relevant information.Webpages you Cyte are saved forever on our server, letting you return to your research even if the webpage has been deleted or modified.Invite colleagues and friends to join your projects, discover new research, and share information.Installation:1. Click 'Add to Firefox' to install the extension.2. When the browser restarts, you will be taken to a page prompting you to create an account. It's free and will only take a minute.Usage:1. Highlight some text on a webpage (as you normally would before you copy to clipboard).2. Press the 'iCyte' button (located between the home button and url bar).3. A dialog will appear asking you to enter some information such as tags or a note.4. Press 'save'. That's it, you've made an annotation! (we call them Cytes)5. To view or share Cytes that you make, click the small arrow to the right of the iCyte button and click 'View Cytes'.
