Dc-qt is a C /Qt/STL front-end for the linux DirectConnect client DCTC. dc-qt is a graphical user interface for a direct connect client called DCTC which is available for Linux and other flavours of UNIX. As the name suggests, it is written using Qt. dc-qt is currently under development and should be considered beta software. dc-qt project is already quite usable, though.The important features of DCTC are supported (except for virtual share -- we will never support that). Some included features are completely unrelated to DCTC, but are useful and convenient in your day-to-day file sharing activities. Exactly what is implemented and not is for us to know and you to find out (and wish for); the feature list changes quickly.Requirements:· Linux, or possibly some other flavour of unix supported by dctc and Qt· decent version of gcc (i.e. 3.x.x nowadays)· working installation of dctc (dc-qt v0.0.9 and above requires dctc v0.85.9)· Qt-3.2.x or above. (Support for Qt-3.1.x dropped in 0.1.0)What's New in This Release:· A lot changed, too much to describe here. Everything is rewritten from scratch (at least two times :)).
